A clinically-validated psychological assessment that you take completely anonymously — no name, no account, no trace. Get a clear score, a plain verdict, and know whether support would help.
You might be thriving emotionally but struggling at work. Doing well professionally but feeling invisible socially. AdjustmentScore measures each dimension independently — because treating your whole life as a single score misses everything that matters.
Every area is free to start. You only pay to unlock the full report — $7.99 per assessment.
One report costs less than a coffee and gives you something concrete to act on — a validated clinical score, a plain verdict, and a recommended path forward.
Most people find one area they expected — and one they didn't.
Mental health check-ins should never require trust in a company you don't know. AdjustmentScore is built differently — your answers are processed entirely in your own browser and are never transmitted to us.
The whole thing takes about 5 minutes. You'll know your result before you close the tab.
The test is always free. You only pay to see your results — once, not every month.
Before you start, here's what most people want to know
Each assessment is drawn from the Multidimensional Adjustment Battery and measures a specific domain of life adjustment against a published clinical benchmark. Free to start — $7.99 to unlock your full report.
No account. No name. Your answers stay in your browser. It takes 5 minutes and costs nothing to start.
Choose the area of your life you want to look at. If you're not sure, start with Emotional — it's the most common starting point.

AdjustmentScore is built on a simple principle: your mental health data is not ours to keep. This policy explains precisely what happens to your information when you use this service.
During the assessment itself, we collect nothing. Your answers are processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. They are never transmitted to our servers, never logged, and never stored anywhere outside your device. We have no record of what you answered, what your score was, or even that you took a test.
If you choose to unlock a report, your score and the assessment area you completed are sent to our server for the sole purpose of creating a Stripe payment session. This data is used only in transit — it is not stored in a database, not logged, and not retained after the payment session is created. Payment itself is handled by Stripe — a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your card number, billing address, or any financial details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data you provide during checkout.
We do not ask for your name or email address at any point in the payment flow. If Stripe provides us with an email address as part of the transaction record, it is used only for payment receipts and is never used for marketing.
We use your browser's sessionStorage to temporarily hold your assessment state while you are on the page. This data is automatically deleted when you close the tab. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not use analytics services that track your behaviour across websites.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your mental health information with employers, insurers, government bodies, or any other third party. The only third party that receives any data from this service is Stripe, which processes payments.
This service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used this service, please contact us.
Because we do not hold personal data linked to your identity, there is typically nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you have a specific concern about data related to a payment transaction, contact us at info@adjustmentscore.com.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By using AdjustmentScore, you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the service.
AdjustmentScore is a psychological self-assessment tool. It provides scores based on validated clinical instruments and compares your responses against published population benchmarks. It is not therapy, not a clinical diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional mental health care.
Think of it as a measurement tool — like a thermometer. It can tell you your number. It cannot interpret what that number means for your specific circumstances, and it cannot prescribe a course of action.
Report unlocks are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Because the report is delivered immediately upon payment and constitutes digital content, we do not offer refunds once a report has been viewed. If you experience a technical problem that prevented you from accessing your report after payment, contact us at info@adjustmentscore.com and we will resolve it.
The AdjustmentScore name, design, and code are our property. The underlying psychological assessment items are based on the Multidimensional Adjustment Battery (MAB), used under licence from the instrument's author. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute the assessment questions or scoring system.
AdjustmentScore is provided as-is. We make no warranty that your score is a complete or accurate reflection of your mental health. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on your results — including decisions to seek or decline professional care. Your use of this service is at your own discretion.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

🆘 If you are in immediate danger or risk of harming yourself or others — call your local emergency number now. Do not wait.
If your score was low, or if you are going through something that feels overwhelming, you are not alone. The resources below are free, confidential, and available right now. You do not need to be in a crisis to use them — they exist for anyone who needs to talk.
A low score does not mean something is permanently wrong. It means you are carrying more than you probably should carry alone. Many people find that one conversation with a professional changes their perspective significantly.
Your GP, a local counselling service, or a trusted mental health platform in your country are all good starting points. The most important step is the first one.
AdjustmentScore is a psychological self-assessment platform built on the Multidimensional Adjustment Battery — a validated clinical instrument developed by professional psychologists to measure how well a person is adapting to the specific demands of different life domains.
The platform was created by a team that includes a practising Counselling Psychologist specialising in Marriage and Family Life. Our goal is to make validated psychological measurement accessible to anyone — privately, affordably, and without requiring a clinical appointment to find out where you stand.
Most people never take a psychological assessment unless something has already gone seriously wrong. By then, the patterns that contributed to the crisis have often been building for years — in relationships, at work, through grief or major life transitions — in ways that a much earlier, simple measurement could have made visible.
AdjustmentScore exists for the space before the crisis. It is a structured, private way to take stock — to find out whether the way you are managing a particular area of your life is within a healthy range, or whether it is under a strain that merits attention before it escalates.
In psychology, adjustment refers to the ongoing process of adapting internal states — thoughts, emotions, behaviour — to the demands of one's external situation. It is not happiness, and it is not the absence of difficulty. It is the quality of the adaptive process itself. A person can be facing enormous challenges and still be well-adjusted — because they have found workable ways to manage those challenges without deteriorating. A person facing relatively modest demands can be poorly adjusted if the gap between the demands and their adaptive capacity has become chronic.
The assessments on this platform measure that adaptive process across ten distinct life domains — relationships, work, family balance, grief, ageing, retirement, and more — each using a validated scale with a published population benchmark. Your score is compared against that benchmark to give you a clear, non-judgmental indication of where you stand.
The assessments are based on the Multidimensional Adjustment Battery (MAB), a comprehensive psychological assessment tool covering twenty domains of life adjustment. The reliability scores (Cronbach's Alpha) across the battery average 0.88 — considered excellent for psychological measurement. The instrument was developed and validated by professional psychologists and is used in clinical and research settings.
AdjustmentScore makes these validated scales available as a private, self-administered digital assessment. We do not modify the scoring or the benchmarks — we report the same measures that clinicians use, in plain language that does not require a clinical background to understand.
Your answers are processed entirely within your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never linked to your identity. We have no record of what you answered or what your score was. The only time data leaves your device is when you choose to unlock a report — at which point your score is transmitted solely to create a Stripe payment session and is not retained.
This is not a policy position. It is an architectural fact. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
AdjustmentScore is a measurement tool, not a clinical service. It provides scores and interpretations based on validated instruments. It does not provide therapy, clinical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. If your score suggests significant difficulty, the appropriate next step is to speak with a qualified mental health professional — a GP, psychologist, counsellor, or therapist — who can provide the clinical assessment and support that a self-administered digital tool cannot.
