Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

The short version: your answers are sent to our server only to calculate your score in real time. We do not store them, log them, or connect them to your name, email, or any account, because you never create one. We have no database of what anyone answered or scored.

AdjustmentScore is built on a simple principle: your mental health data is not ours to keep. This policy explains precisely what happens to your information when you use this service.

How your answers are processed

When you answer the assessment questions, your responses are sent to our server so we can calculate your score against the published clinical benchmark, this happens in real time and the answers are not written to any database, log file, or storage system. Nothing about your session is linked to your name, email, IP address, or any persistent identifier. We do not create an account for you, and we have no record after the fact of what you answered or what your score was, beyond the payment session described below.

What happens when you pay

If you choose to unlock a full report, your (already server-calculated) score and the assessment area are cryptographically signed and passed to Stripe as part of creating a payment session, so that after payment we can verify what was paid for and generate your report. This reference is not stored in a database independent of Stripe's own records. Payment itself is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your card number, billing address, or any financial details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data you provide during checkout.

We do not ask for your name or email address at any point in the payment flow. If Stripe provides us with an email address as part of the transaction record, it is used only for payment receipts and is never used for marketing.

Cookies and local storage

Your in-progress answers are held temporarily in your browser's memory while you're on the page and are cleared when you close or refresh the tab. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not use analytics services that track your behaviour across websites.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your mental health information with employers, insurers, government bodies, or any other third party. The only third party that receives any data from this service is Stripe, which processes payments.

Children

This service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used this service, please contact us.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data linked to your identity, there is typically nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you have a specific concern about data related to a payment transaction, contact us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
